Sandy Semans Ross

EyeonDare is asking a favor of everyone in Dare County who would like to see an excellent candidate sitting in one of the two seats for District 1 (Roanoke Island/mainland) on the board of the Dare County Commissioners.  Sandy Semans Ross is retiring from her job as Editor of the Outer Banks Sentinel around July 1st.  She is currently registered with the Dare County Board of Elections as an Unaffiliated Voter/Candidate, seeking to have her named placed on the November ballot.

Sandy can accomplish this with your help.  She needs approximately 1,100 signatures from registered voters in Dare County and her name will appear on the ballot. Your signature does not require you to vote for Sandy, it merely acknowledges her right to run as an Unaffiliated candidate.

Dare County needs more people like Sandy Semans Ross helping run our local government.  Sandy is recognized, statewide, as a strong proponent for "open government" and has been recognized for her editorial efforts in that regard.
