THIS SATURDAY DECEMBER 8- Spread the Word to Families in Need

Help-Portrait unites communities. Our goal is simple:
Find someone in need, take their portrait, print their portrait, deliver their portrait.

This December photographers from around the world will be grabbing their cameras, finding people in need, taking their picture, and sending people away with a print of their portrait. It is a movement, a shift in photography. We want to GIVE people photos, not just take them.

These portraits are not for sale... There is no money involved. Help-Portrait is an opportunity to share a smile, a hug, a moment in a way that many have never had the chance to share before; through a portrait.

On December 8, 2012 Outer Banks photographers will be teaming-up with hair and make-up artists, caterers, DJs, and community volunteers to host the 4th annual Help-Portrait. The event will be held at Nags Head Church, Mile Post 13, from 12noon-5pm. Again, the goal is simple: to provide portraits free of charge to needy people in our community.
