This festival starts today (March 27th) and runs through April 6th. Some events are free of charge--such as the various Storytelling events, and a few have a nominal charge for functions such as the North Carolina Dance Theatre's production on Tuesday the 31st. This festival helps to celebrate the culture, people, and history of the Outer Banks as well as providing other cultural events for the public. Many functions take place in Manteo and the Wright Brothers Pavilion at the Wright Brothers Memorial here in Kill Devil Hills. Come stay a few days or come for the whole festival!
