Too Many Campaign Signs !

Folks, I do not believe that any of us need to see 2,000 campaign signs for one single local candidate, dotted all along our roadways, in order to help us decide who and who not to vote for on November 6th. In the first place, when a candidate chooses to spend that much money on a "local race" in order to get elected, it make me wonder how much of my hard earned tax dollars he/she wants to spend if he/she is elected. One sign per mile of roadway should be enough for any candidate, even the Presidential candidates !

However, EOD continues to note sign after sign for several of our local contenders. For example Paul Tine (D), one of our local NC House of Representatives contenders doesn't have to tell me he wants to be elected and that he supports Bob Muller (D) who is one of our local county commissioner contenders. For when one sees a Tine sign, they almost always see a Muller sign sitting within inches of it. OK, so be it.

But, when EOD was riding over into Currituck County today, which, by the way is not in either candidate's district, he was appalled to see that both Tine and Muller had double signs sitting directly underneath the "Welcome to Currituck County" sign, sitting snugly there with legitimate Currituck County office contenders! Go figure. Won't it be interesting to hear what Currituck voters think when they cannot find Tine or Muller's names on their voting ballots?  And Tine also has a giant billboard over the bridge into Currituck County!  Again, go figure!

Will I be voting for Tine and Muller come November 6th?  No !
